Training

We offer free product training for staff and students.

Eligibility

The training program is available to:

  • Australian training organisations offering courses related to dogs and/or cats
  • New and existing stockists

How It Works

  1. The organisation contacts us.
  2. We send out a training pack for each participant.
  3. Once the training packs have been received, the participants use the packs in conjunction with our website to complete our online assessment.

Each training pack contains the following in a recycled paper bag:

Ordering Training Packs

To request training packs for your organisation, please email with the following information:

  • Organisation name
  • Number of training packs to provide
  • Address for delivery (preferably not a PO box)

The Assessment

  • The assessment does not have a time limit and is open book.
  • Use the provided training pack plus our website (in another tab or window) to obtain the answers.
  • The pass rate is 80%, meaning a minimum of 80% of questions must be answered correctly for the participant to receive a certificate of competency. If a score of 80% or higher is not achieved, the assessment can be retaken. There is no limit to the number of attempts. 
  • Participants are not required to create an account.
  • At the beginning of the assessment, a name is entered, which will be used to populate the certificate of competency. No other personal information is collected from participants.
  • If the participant passes the assessment, the certificate of competency can be downloaded.
