Donations & Fundraising

As a social enterprise, we are very passionate about supporting charities. Each year, we donate a significant amount of product to various charities (see Who We’ve Helped). Our product is then used for fundraising through raffles, auctions, showbags and prizes, as well as for supplying to those in financial hardship. We also donate product through our Rescue Support Program.

If you would like your charity to be considered for a donation, please email with the following information:

  • The charity’s name
  • ABN
  • Website
  • Email address
  • Facebook handle
  • Instagram handle
  • Postal address (preferably not a PO box) with a contact first and last name
  • The number of donations sought and how they will be used

Donations are only available to dog and/or cat related registered Australian charities. Please note that we are unable to provide monetary donations and that there is a cap on the value of donations per charity per 6-month period, as we get a lot of requests and need to ensure our small business remains sustainable.

If you would like to sell Simply Seaweed to raise money for your organisation then you can become a stockist. Just like other retailers, by becoming a Simply Seaweed stockist you will sell the product and keep the profit. For more information please see Wholesale Information.

Occasionally we attend events to promote our product. We donate the profits for all retail sales made at such events to a selected charity. Please email if you would like to nominate your charity. Each charity is only eligible to be a recipient once, to allow us to help different charities.
