Donations & Fundraising

As a social enterprise, we are very passionate about supporting charities. Each year, we donate a significant amount of products to various charities (see Who We’ve Helped). Our products are then used for fundraising through raffles, auctions, showbags and prizes, as well as for supplying to those in financial hardship. We also donate products through our Rescue Support Program.

If you would like your charity to be considered for a product donation for fundraising purposes, please email with the following information:

  • The charity’s name
  • ABN
  • Website
  • Email address
  • Facebook handle
  • Instagram handle
  • Postal address (preferably not a PO box) with a contact first and last name
  • The number of products sought and how they will be used

Occasionally we attend events to promote our business/product. If our product is for sale at such an event, we donate all profits to a selected charity.

Product donations are not permitted to be sold. If you would like to sell Simply Seaweed products to raise money for your charity, you can do so as a stockist, please see Wholesale Information.

Please note:

  • There is a cap on the value of ongoing product donations per charity per 6 month period, to ensure our small business remains sustainable.
  • We post about donations on social media to provide transparency to customers and show the impact of their support. Donation recipients are also added to our website list of Who We’ve Helped
