Our product is seaweed, seaweed is rich in iodine, and iodine influences thyroid function. A veterinarian needs to determine firstly if Simply Seaweed is recommended, and secondly if the pet’s thyroid treatment plan needs to be modified and/or monitored to account for the additional iodine in the pet’s diet.
